Easy Pineapple Crumble

Super simple pineapple crumble slice
Recipe type: Dessert
Serves: 6 serves
  • 1 tin of crushed pineapple (440g)
  • 1 cup of plain flour
  • 130g of soft brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 50g melted butter
  1. Make your dry mix by combining the 5 dry ingredients above (store in a jar for gift giving or continue with the instructions for making immediately)
  2. Preheat the oven to a moderate temperature (180oC)
  3. Drain the pineapple juice and spoon the pinapple into the bottom of a loaf tin.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients with the egg until it makes a crumb like consistency.
  5. Spoon that over the pineapple.
  6. Drizzle the butter all over the top.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes.
  8. Serve hot or cold. It would go really well with some vanilla icecream #justsaying
