Soft Molasses Biscuits
Delicious spiced biscuit with wholemeal goodness.
  • 2 Tbsp melted organic coconut oil
  • ¼ cup molasses
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Dash of vanilla essence
  • ½ cup wholemeal flour
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • pinch of cinnamon, cloves and ground ginger
  • granulated sugar for dipping
  1. Preheat your oven to 180oC (fan forced). Line a baking tray with baking paper. Mix the first five ingredients together in a bowl. Then add the flours, baking powder and spices and continue to mix.
  2. Roll the dough into bite size balls, dip one side in the granulated sugar and then press with two fingers onto the baking tray.
  3. Bake in the oven for 13 mins.
