The colour of this grape and guava slushy may be new for children to explore – it’s pink but not intense. The temperature is possibly new to explore too, somewhere in between juice and icecream. It makes a lovely “let’s explore and be curious” drink to offer alongside a family meal.

Guava & Grape Slushy

minutesA fruity hit of vitamin C that is fun to explore at a mealtime.
Ingredients
1 cup of frozen green or red seedless grapes
6 tinned guava halves, seeds removed
1/2 cup of water
1 sprig of mint, another for garnish (optional)
Directions
- Put all ingredients into a high powered blender
- Blend for at least 1 minute until smooth. Add additional water if it is too icy and you want a more liquid consistency.
- Pour into cups and garnish with extra mint
